What is the Positivity in “Balanced Positivity”?

Amongst the work I have done so far for this Shrine, I have noted that the concept of balanced positivity has been known through history by other names - most specifically, moderation. 

However, that is not quite correct. 

Yes, the BALANCE part of “Balanced Positivity” can be equated to the historical concept of moderation, but that does not really address the aspect of POSITIVITY - and on that, I have made a passing mention to what positivity is NOT (e.g., toxic positivity), but I have not yet explored what positivity IS. 

So that is my next area of meditation, discussion with spirit, etc: 

what exactly is the Positivity in “Balanced Positivity”?
