Welcome to the Shrine of Balanced Positivity

Since the 1980s, one of my key life aims has to be to live in, and promote and work for, a state of Balanced Positivity and Spiritual Maturity.

I first came across the term Balanced Positivity in Stuart Holroyd’s magnificent book "Briefing for the Landing on Planet Earth", in which he describes - amongst other matters - contact with a group known as “The Nine” (who crop up in a few other places as well). They have some interesting views on a range of matters, one of which is that we should be aiming to be “balanced positive” – i.e., not negative, but not “holier than thou” extreme (fanatical?) versions of spirituality.

This is consistent with my view that one of the problems of life to avoid, is toxic positivity

Balanced Positivity has been a key part of my life since then.

I have created this personal, cclosed shrine so I can focus specifically on that topic, separate from and distinct to all the other actions and parts of my life that it is a part of, including exploring and formalising how it connects with, or is part of, Deity and the Divine.

How that will play out here, I am not entirely sure yet, except that I will post short reflective pieces here from time to time focused on this topic, and explore Deity connections.

Hopefully, the existence and content of this Shrine may lead to others exploring the topic as well.

Blessed Be
